Troy Davis Noosed of Lady Justice
Cases of capital punishment, like the Troy Davis caseand execution, always make me think about God and prayers. Can you imagine how many people are genuinely praying to God to intervene in this situation?Will God come through at the last minute in some dramatic sweat-dripping-from-Troy’s-forehead type scene or will he not show up? What about the people praying against Troy Davis, are there more people praying against him than for him and does that tally matter to God’s decision to help or not. I cant say. I never been the type to fully believe in predestination. My theory is I think God’s gave us a will to do as we please. That is the blessing of being a human to choose who to follow. I think his give us the guidelines and we make the choice to follow him or evil. He does not know the path we will choose. He does know that he will prevail in the end but he does not know how many of us will choose the right path. So if my theory is true, God is sitting back, like he did with Job, watching what we will do and decide in the Troy Davis case. Hopefully we will make the right choice.

Another wrongfully-executed victim imo, thousands done already. Time will tell the truth and this execution will make the surviving family members all millionaires, just like in other cases after the facts come out from the upcoming lawsuits. But, I believe the strongest way to prevent the wrong-doing by the state again is for someone to publicly disclose the individual people involved in this case from a prosecutorial-side, get a list of whereabouts for each person, their time schedules, their families time schedules and locations and let true justice prevail by the public concerned in this case. It may actually help the economy by increasing the sales of guns, ammunitions, and funeral services.

Well religious is a personal thing for everyone…just becaus ei dont feel what you feel doesnt mean im wrong or it nonesense it just not wht you believe. I explore idea and question my faith becaus ethat is how you advanc ein your belief and studying. Personally find it funny and kinda stupid to believe that you would think, assume, or expect me to be what you think i should be or think what you think i should think…but hey plenty of people make those type of assumption and expectations

diamondstylz, I agree with Your Theory, God did give us free will to do as we see fit.
What we do with the free will is up to us. I can’t help but think, God must be shaking his Head watching what a Mess some of us are making with our Life and the Decisions we make.
All the Bad Stuff going on in this World is not God’s Doing, he is not responsible for All the Crime committed and the Punishment the Perpetrators get, People who make those Decisions are responsible and accountable for that.
In the Case of Troy Davis, it’s not God who can stop this Injustice, it will have to come from the Person/s who are responsible for the Injustice taking place in the first Place.
I do however pray for those People who have the Power to stop that Execution to have the Wisdom to do so, before it is too late.
Obviously there are valid Reasons and Doubts why that Execution should not happen.
It will be a gross Injustice to go forward with this Execution with that many Doubts about the Guilt of this Accused.
The least our Justice System owes Troy Davis is to look into that Case one more time and seek the Truth before it is too late. JMO

God will not intervene on this corrupt judicial practice of the death penalty. Look how many people have been wrongfully executed already or freed after they finally find out the defendant was actually not guilty of what he was convicted of. I believe the death penalty only results in more murders since once the perp commits the crime equal to a death penalty, there is no more incentive to not do more and worse crimes. That is why so many children are missing.
